Competitive Team PARENT/ATHLETE MEETING!Tuesday Nov. 3rd, 6:00 PM, Forum Room
Please DO NOT miss this meeting; most likely the only one during competition season! Topics to be discussed:Fundraising, Choreography, Competition dates, practice schedules, costs, etc. Please bring your checkbooks!We will need the check for choreography (around $95) this night! Meeting to be followed by:Band/Cheer concert @ 7 PM - Football Squad :)AWARDS NIGHT THURSDAY, Nov. 5th!

CHEER wins Community Service Award!
Congrats to all our BNHS Cheerleaders for winning the Community Service award for the 2nd year! Remember that the reason we strive for this is not b/c of the status or Award that is displayed in our trophy case. The reason we do these activities is to help people in our community that support you in return; learning to give of your talents and time is the most valuable lesson you can learn and will give you more joy than any piece of paper or trophy :)
Thank you Brooke, Alicia, Megan, and Woody for volunteering at the Rockford Marathon & kicking off Community Service for this year!
Varsity Squad Achieves Goal!
IHSA Team Academic Achievement Award
Congratulations to the BNHS Varsity Competitve Squad for achieving their goal of maintaining a 3.0 or higher team average for the 2nd and 3rd grading periods. Grades have been submitted to IHSA, and the team will be added to our IHSA Academic Achievement plaque begun by our Cross Country team. The Blue Thunder Varsity squad had a cumulative squad average of 3.194!! AWESOME!!!!
