We earned another $1,234 toward your tumbling fees! It was fun, and it beats selling candy bars or cookie dough, right? GREAT JOB! Car Wash Total - $490.00!Great job today ladies, at the car wash! I'm guessing many of you have never had to wash a car till today! We made $490, and everyone showed up for their shifts! Way to work together! Lots of nice people came out and gave extra donations as well! Be sure to thank anyone who was a patron, and especially Hammertime
Sports, Advance Auto Parts and Starbucks!Dunk Tank Dominates Boone Co. Fair!!!Awesome job this week at the fair girls! I'm not sure on the exact $ count yet but I'm sure it boosted the line in our megaphone! -Rina- It was around $1,700!Fleecers Strike Again10 girls and 3 moms assembled in Tammy's basement for more blanket-making! We decided to tie the edges, as it seemed faster and cuter, and people can take blankets home! Alicia was a mad seamstress, and we now have Stephanie Scissorhands on the JV squad. Katelyn and Alicia each took home 3 blankets to work on at home, which brings us to a total of 14 for that day! Other girls who attended were: Lexi B., Brooke, Megan, Rina, Courtney, Shay, and Cydney. Junior "Junior" Camp brings in $144! Rina, Aggie, Ashlee, Katelyn, Stephanie, Alyssa and Megan spent 3 hours Friday afternoon doing a party for fourteen 5 yr. olds! They taught a cheer, jumps, boogie chants, etc. Of course the little girls' favorite thing was "little Sally Walker". Alyssa Peterson and her mom made really cute "dirt" cups! It was definitely a challenge keeping them entertained for such a long time. Great job girls. Makes you think twice about being a kindergarten teacher, right???Rummage/Bake Sale a HUGE success!! Thanks to Henneberry Motors and the Shawd family, our Rummage/Bake sale was a total success! Approximately $2,000 was collected in sales from the rummage sale, baked goods, and fleece blankets/scarves!(Check out the megaphone!) Everyone who was scheduled to work showed up on time with their baked goods! Not only did we earn money toward our goal, it was alot of fun as well! Some have asked...will this be an annual event?? Extra special thanks to Henneberry Motors, Tom Giglio, Wicked Brew, and Sam's Club for their gracious donations. Thanks also to all of you who donated clothing, household items, baked goods, etc. for the sale. Without your hard work it could not have been possible. Leftover items will be donated to Salvation Army of Belvidere, and the Ida Public Library. If you have a table to be picked up, you can do that during business hours - tables are lined up against the wall in the back building. Way to go BNHS families!! Freaky Fleecers12 girls met at Marina's on one of the HOTTEST days of the summer to make fleece blankets/scarves! We made a total of 23 scarves, (plus 10 more that just need fringing), and 6 blankets! We found out it's not as quick as we thought - but it gave us lots of "bonding and gossip" time! Special thanks to Deb Shawd for hosting us, and to Kari Boling for instructing us on how to make them! We'll meet again in July to make more blankets, so those of you who didn't do it this time will have another chance! Participants this time were: Kalenna, Lexi R., Taylor, Stanzie, Kristin H., Gabby, Kara, Brittany, Aggie, Ashlee B., Skylar, and Marina. (Our chipmunk Shayleigh stopped by to drop off a machine - buy the poor girl a milkshake!)

Carissa, Paulina, Skylar and Nikkoleapplied makeup, did hair and nails, and got 3 little girls ready for theirdance recital last Friday/Saturday. THANK YOU for donating yourtime, girls!Cheer Birthday PartiesWe will be hosting birthday parties for girls ages 5-11 at their homes for $125. Four cheerleaders will be needed for each party to teach them cheers. We will also provide cupcakes, crafts, party favors and a present for the birthday girl. There will be a 10 - 15 guest limit. Spread the word!
Mad Mulchers Strike it Rich - $250!Skylar, Kristin K., Alyssa F., Jackie, and Presley (Poopie) earned us our first $250 for our "account"! These girls rolled out of bed early to spread a HUGE pile of mulch for 2 1/2 hrs., and reduced the pile to nothing! You prissy girls look out! These girls got down and dirty and worked like Thunder! Watch for photos to be posted on Boonecountysports.com and this website. Way to go girls - we are proud of you and thank you for your hard work! Maybe we want to do this again w/some other volunteers???
