BNHS Cheer is one impressive group of hard-working young people! Everyone did her assigned job perfectly; I could not ask for a better group of helpers. Having the girls as helpers makes my life alot easier b/c I don't have to recruit from our membership, some of whom would be reluctant to volunteer. I wish you and the girls much success in your cheerleading competitions in 2008-09. Please say "yes" to joining us at Pig Roast 2009. You are a great addition to our event and we salute you!"Joan Lund, Pig Roast ChairmanActivities from 2007THANK YOU to all of you who did Facepainting at Jack Wolf!I have your name/hours and will add that to your Community Service sheet :)"Sock-It-To-'em" Night

Skylar, Ali, Carissa, Jessica, Bailey, "Brooksey", "Bubbles"& Gabby helped out at the Belvidere Sister Cities Pigroast on Saturday night! I received this letter from Executive Board Member, Joan Lund:
"The girls were wonderful last night at the pig roast! We put them to work right away, and they made things go very smoothly. In particular, at the dessert tables, my member volunteers did not show up as planned, so the girls took over and handled it very well. They all had dinner on us when their shift was over. Besides that, some members offered donations for the squad, and I am sure that more will be coming. It seems like a win-win situation for both of us: good publicity for the cheerleaders and needed help for Sister Cities, so maybe we can repeat it again next year?" - Joan LundTHANK YOU girls! This is what it's all about - being exemplary ambassadors for your school. When you help others, good things come your way as well :) Jodi, Amy and I are proud of you!
PS. Does anyone have photos from this event???
